Well, I'll start by saying that things are really looking up for UTEP basketball. The reuniting of Coach Tim Floyd with UTEP was a match made in heaven for us. He's already doing a great job of scheduling some of the top teams in the country (Arizona, UNLV, Oregon, and Oklahoma, Clemson/Gonzaga in the Old Spice Classic), as well as bringing in some solid recruits like Parade All-American Twymond Howard and big man Chris Washburn Jr. We also had a commit from Anthony January before he reclassified, and coach is going after guys like the Hamilton brothers and others in upcoming classes. Floyd is doing a great job in attempting to return UTEP to prominence, and he's on the fast track to do so. It'll be interesting to see not only what this team can do this coming year, but what the future holds with CTF at the helm.
